For the Beer Cheese Sauce
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp flour
½ cup beer (lager or ale)
½ cup heavy cream
1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar
1 tsp mustard powder
Salt & pepper to taste
For the Pretzel Boil
6 cups water
½ cup baking soda
For Topping
1 egg yolk + 1 tbsp water (egg wash)
