You'll keep making this warm and comforting dish long after December is over—we call it the "Holiday Hug Casserole."

There's something comfortable about Creamy Ranch Potato Casserole. It has the country charm of potatoes and the spicy, herb-filled goodness of ranch sauce. When people get together with their families or at potlucks in the middle of America, they often bring casseroles. It's a great choice for people who like rich tastes and creamy textures. This casserole is great whether you're having people over for dinner or just want a tasty side dish.
A fresh green salad or steamed veggies goes well with this stew because they balance out the heaviness of the food. Serve it with grilled chicken or roasted beef for a heartier meal. A light, tangy treat like lemon sorbet can go well with sweet foods to make them taste more refreshing.
