Coconut Cream Balls without baking

Get your work area ready. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. This will be where you put the coconut cream balls as you shape and cool them.

Prepare the coconut cream mixture: In a bowl, use a hand mixer to mix the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth and well combined. Slowly pour the powdered sugar, stirring well each time until the mixture becomes thick and a bit sticky. Mix the shredded coconut well so it spreads evenly in the mixture. Put the mixture in the refrigerator for around 1 hour so it becomes easier to work with and mold.

Form the coconut cream balls. Sprinkle powdered sugar on your hands to avoid them from sticking. Take a little bit of the coconut mixture and shape it into small egg shapes or balls by rolling it between your hands. Put these on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Once you have formed all the mixture into balls, place them in the freezer on a baking sheet for approximately one hour. This will help them become firmer, making it easier to dip them.
Make the chocolate covering. Melt the chocolate chips as directed on the package. You can do this in a microwave-safe bowl by heating them in short intervals and stirring until smooth, or by using a double boiler on the stove.
Cover the coconut balls with chocolate. Once the chocolate is melted and creamy, take the coconut balls out of the freezer. Dip each ball in the melted chocolate using a fork to make sure they are completely covered. Use another fork to move the chocolate-covered ball back onto the baking paper. Do the same with all the coconut balls.
Arrange the chocolate. Put the baking sheet with the coconut balls covered in chocolate in the fridge for 5 to 10 minutes until the chocolate hardens. This process makes the chocolate become hard and create a crunchy layer around the soft center.
Use and keep: Once the chocolate hardens, the No-Bake Coconut Cream Balls are ready to eat. They can be served right away on a special plate or kept in a sealed container in the fridge. You can eat these snacks cold or at room temperature, depending on how you like them.
This easy and classy dessert is simple to make and incredibly tasty, ideal for any event where you want to impress without much work.
