Customers are very angry about a sign on the door of a restaurant. The restaurant's response is: "We will not remove it, too bad for you!"

This was a smart and thoughtful idea from the owner. After a photo of the sign was shared on Facebook, it received more than 10,000 likes!

Employees from KFC have confirmed on Facebook that they are happy to provide free meals to police officers throughout the year. This has caused surprise among people in the community and on the internet.

It's impossible to make everyone happy.

Not everyone is happy with the sign.

Some people believe it is not right that only police officers receive special treatment and think that ambulance drivers, healthcare workers, and other emergency service employees should also be treated the same way.

The greatest response

After receiving many critical comments, a police officer decided to respond.

"This is a happy message, but some of you may not understand the whole situation."

As a police officer, I never expect or desire to receive anything for free or at a discount when I go into a place, whether I am in uniform or not. I know that other officers share this sentiment. We do not like being treated differently. KFC is showing appreciation for the police, and that's why they shared this post.

To those who said that we should also recognize other emergency workers. Is my response correct? "Definitely."

Police officers spend their lives keeping regular people and our community safe. Their work is essential for the health of our country, and I appreciate all that they do.

Please tell us if you believe more restaurants should follow this great example — and to show appreciation for the important work of all our police officers.
