2 pounds of minced meat
1 packet of French onion soup mix
1/2 cup of bread crumbs
1/2 cup of shredded Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cup of ketchup, split in half.
1 egg
1 onion, cut into thin slices.
2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley, you can add it if you want.
Instructions
In a big bowl, combine the beef, onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, cheese, milk, egg, and 1/4 cup of ketchup. Mix everything well.
Form the mixture into a loaf shape and put it in your slow cooker.
Put the rest of the ketchup (1/4 cup) on top of the meatloaf.
Put the thinly sliced onions on top of the ketchup.
Pour the Worcestershire sauce on top of the onions.
6. Put a lid on and cook on low heat for 6-7 hours, or until the meatloaf reaches a temperature of 160°F (70°C) inside.
Allow the meatloaf to sit for around 10 minutes before cutting and serving. Add some fresh parsley on top, if you like.
