12 sheets of dough for making egg rolls
8 ounces of cream cheese that has been left out to soften.
1 cup of grated cheddar cheese
6 pieces of bacon, cooked and broken into small pieces.
4 big jalapenos, with the seeds removed and chopped.
1/2 teaspoon of powdered garlic
1/2 teaspoon of powdered onion
Add salt and pepper according to your preference.
Spray made from olives.
Instructions
Heat your oven to 400°F (200°C) before using it. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper and leave it to the side.
In a bowl, mix together the soft cream cheese, grated cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, chopped jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until all ingredients are mixed together.
Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface. Put around 2 tablespoons of the filling in the middle of the wrapper.
Fold the lower corner over the filling, then fold the sides in, and roll up firmly. Use a small amount of water to close the edges. Do the same with the rest of the wrappers and filling.
Put the eggrolls with the folded side facing down on the baking sheet. Spray the tops lightly with olive oil.
Cook in the oven for 15-20 minutes, flipping them over halfway through, until the eggrolls are crunchy and golden brown.
Take out of the oven and allow to cool a bit before serving. Enjoy these with your favorite sauce or side dishes.
Different Types and Advice
For a new taste, try using smoked cheddar or pepper jack cheese instead of plain cheddar. If you want a vegetarian option, leave out the bacon and include more vegetables such as diced bell peppers or corn. You can also try different sauces like spicy aioli or sweet chili sauce to go with or contrast the spiciness of the jalapenos.
