When these pork chops come out of the oven, my home smells just divine! Everyone is gassing over it to eat!


 Six pigs chops

8 cut potatoes
One cut onion
Six teaspoons of butter
7 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Three cups chicken stock
Two and one half cups grated cheddar cheese
2 cups of milk

Two thirds of a cup all-purpose flour
One fourth cup finely chopped chives
Taste salt and pepper at will.

Guideline:

Preheat your oven to 350°F. Soak sliced potatoes in cold water meanwhile. This keeps browning off and eliminates extra starch. One might also complete this phase several hours ahed.
Melt 4 tablespoons of butter and 4 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat in a big pan. Add onions; sauté until caramelized. Over onions, scatter two thirds cup of all-purpose flour.
Add two cups of milk and three cups of chicken stock. Stir constantly until the mixture boil and thickens. Cook with salt and pepper. Till melted, stir cheese and chives. Take off of the burner.
4. Dish for casserole greases. Sort potatoes that have been soaked. Layer half of the potatoes then match half of the cheese sauce. Proceed for a second layer as well.
5. Spend twenty minutes in preheated oven.
6. Let's brown the chops in meanwhile! Combine one cup flour, grained garlic, salt and pepper. Dredge each pork chop in this concoction. Over medium-high heat in another pan, warm 2 tablespoons of melted butter and 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Add the pork chops and, around 4–5 minutes on each side, brown them.
7. Top potatoes in casserole with browning pork chops.
Bake uncovered until the casserole is bubbling and brown and the pork chops are cooked through—40 minutes or more.
Before serving, sprinkle optional chopped chives.
