Making Paneer at Home: New, smooth, and classic

Paneer, a type of cheese from India, is a popular ingredient used in kitchens worldwide. Paneer is a versatile ingredient that can be used in many dishes, like curries and desserts. Its mild taste and capacity to soak up flavors make it a great ingredient for cooking, and its richness in protein and calcium makes it a favorite choice for vegetarians.

Creating paneer at home might seem difficult initially, but it is actually quite easy. You only need four simple ingredients: milk, lemon juice (or vinegar), salt, and optionally butter. By making paneer from scratch, you can choose how it turns out, how fresh it is, and how it tastes, without any preservatives. This recipe helps you follow a long-standing tradition by making a basic ingredient that is simple and satisfying.

Paneer has been important throughout history and remains popular in kitchens worldwide today. Its capacity to work well in both classic and modern recipes, while still being full of nutrients, shows why it continues to be popular.
