Peter Morris, a 47-year-old father of two and owner of Little Dragon Pizza, passed away due to cancer. The Prince and Princess of Wales expressed their heartfelt sympathy.
The royal family first met Morris in 2023 when they purchased 12 pizzas from him for the Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team while visiting Dowlais Rugby Club in Merthyr Tydfil.

When they found out he had died, Kate and William wrote a letter to his wife Tracey saying, "We can only imagine how much he will be missed in your life. My thoughts are with you and your family."

In the past, Morris fought and won against oesophageal cancer. However, he was later diagnosed with cancer in his adrenal gland and liver. He found out the news about four months after meeting William and Kate. Their message of support and sadness was read during his funeral.
