Soup made with pasta and beans.


 

Cook the ground beef in a big pot on the stove until browned, then remove any excess fat. Include all the other ingredients, except for the pasta. Heat until boiling, then reduce heat and let it simmer before adding the pasta.
Place a lid on the pot and cook for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the pasta and vegetables are soft. You can sprinkle shredded parmesan cheese on top. Serves 8 to 10 people.

This recipe can be easily made in a slow cooker. Brown the meat in a pan, then drain it and put it in the slow cooker with all the other ingredients except the pasta. Put pasta in the pot during the final 30 minutes of cooking. Cook on low heat for 7 to 8 hours or on high heat for 4 to 5 hours.
