Slow Cooker Beef and Barley Soup

Soft beef, nutritious vegetables, and plump barley... it's the ideal beef barley soup! Take out the slow cooker and prepare to enjoy one of the most comforting meals with very little work!

Have you been feeling unwell recently, or do you know someone who is? I'm telling you, there are a lot of germs going around here in Ohio! I recently had the flu and viral pneumonia, and now I have a bad case of bacterial bronchitis. And I know many other people who are experiencing the same situation. Now is the perfect moment for some really comforting food... and this is my absolute favorite.

Soup is great during this season, whether you are unwell or not. Slow cooker soups are great because they require minimal hands-on cooking time.

As I said before, beef barley soup is my absolute favorite soup! Even though I really liked it, I never cooked it at home for a long time. I was very happy to open a can. Now that I have been working on and improving this recipe... I will never eat canned beef barley soup again!
