Beef and Barley Soup


 


What you require:


1 pound of beef cut into cubes for stew.
1 teaspoon. from olive oil
1 small onion, sliced
2 cloves of garlic, minced 2 carrots, peeled and sliced
2 pieces of chopped celery
one cup of barley grains
four cups of beef broth
Chopped tomatoes, one can (14.5 oz.)
thyme that has been dried, 1 teaspoon
1 mg of dried rosemary
When necessary, put in half a teaspoon of salt.
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, or add more if you like.
2 cups of water One bay leaf
Cut some new parsley to decorate.
