My grandmother from Italy showed me this technique, and I have been using it ever since!

1. Put the cut baby potatoes in your slow cooker.

In a little bowl, combine olive oil, Italian herbs, chopped garlic, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.

3. Drizzle the olive oil mixture over the potatoes and mix well to cover them completely.

4. Put the lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the potatoes are soft and fully cooked.

Before serving, mix the potatoes well and add some freshly chopped parsley on top for a colorful touch and extra taste.

Different types and advice

If your family members are selective about food, you can change the spices to match their preferences. To make the taste less strong, use less garlic or switch to garlic powder. You can also put other vegetables such as colorful peppers, onions, or carrots in the slow cooker for different flavors. For a fun variation, add some grated mozzarella on top during the final 30 minutes of baking. Have fun!
