Guidelines:
Before baking, heat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Put a little oil on a baking sheet or cover it with parchment paper.
Make the dough: Flatten the pizza dough on a surface with a bit of flour until it reaches the thickness you want. If you like thicker breadsticks, flatten the dough to about 1/2 inch thick. To make thinner breadsticks, roll the dough out more thinly.
Cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide using a pizza cutter or a sharp knife.
Make the garlic butter by mixing melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
Spread the garlic butter mixture on top of the dough strips using a brush.
Put cheese on top: Spread the grated mozzarella cheese evenly on the dough strips. Next, put the shredded Parmesan cheese on the top.
Seasoning: If desired, add some dried oregano on top of the cheese to enhance the taste.
Twist and put: Gently twist each strip of dough and place it on the baking sheet, leaving some room between each breadstick.
Cook in the oven that has been heated beforehand for 12-15 minutes, or until the breadsticks are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Take out of the oven and allow the breadsticks to cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve hot with tomato sauce for dipping, if you like.
Enjoy your tasty Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks!
